How they come to be verified I am not yet sure and since there seems not to be a way for the user to to solve this and only wait on the developer to update airports. X-Life produces traffic at verified airports. Some aircraft land short of the runway sometimes so that might be related to data in Xplane or it might be due to the way ADSB data is handled, I'm not sure. I have tested this and have had flights landing whilst watching the same aircraft through FlightRadar24 in the real world and it works. The problem with Live-Traffic is in that while you can get Air traffic you do not get aircraft parked at the stands at airports departing or on schedule.

I have managed to install both X-life and Live-Traffic Plugins. But XP still has phenomenal performance, it’s so smooth not one stutter, I love it. I love UTL in P3D, wish they would make it for XP. Many thanks! Looks like I’ll be flying alone for a while till something easier catches up. Especially its seamless interaction with ATC. Default XP11 traffic is limited to 19 aircraft and cuts your framerates to unbearable levels.įor all its short comings, the AI traffic system in MSFS really added something to immersion. X-Life is limited to a few airports, is short on GA traffic and the latest releases come with a huge performance penalty. Auto-ATC features AI traffic, but it's clumsy to set up and GA isn't implemented yet. World Traffic 3 is more akin to what MSFS has to offer, but has to be initialized manually every time you enter the sim world and it requires custom airport layout data, which can take a very long time to generate. LiveTraffic has hardly any GA aircraft and only features ground traffic at very few airports.
There is no easy traffic solution for X-Plane.
